Westside Surgical Hospital and Breast Center held its first Between the Girls Education and Wellness event on May 11, 2016. This event was created by Jamesia McDonald, Certified Breast Nurse Navigator to bring the women of Greater Houston together for education on mammograms, breast cancer, support and financial options. A mix and mingle was hosted by Sacha Simmons of The Serenity Healing Center. SHC provides oncology massage as well as nutritional education and services to those impacted by cancer whether they are currently in treatment or thriving in survivorship.
